The project
Pitbikes.gr organizes trackdays for pitbikes and supermoto, founded by Michalis Kydonakis and with the motto "Run on the track, not on the road". Shell-iT has been collaborating with Pitbikes.gr since 2022 and in October 2026 we delivered the redesign of the website, with a new content structure around trackdays and the rider experience.
The new homepage leads to both the next trackdays and a special route for those going to the track for the first time. Each trackday has its own page with date, times, track, categories, groups by experience and pace, amenities, daily program, map and the ability to add to Google Calendar or iCal/ICS. Participation is registered by phone, with a direct call button from the event page.
The content is complemented by the "First trackday" page, five practical guides, photos and videos from the track, the team presentation, frequently asked questions and a newsletter for new dates. The site is also linked to pitbikes.shop, also a Shell-iT project, for spare parts and accessories.
What did we do in this project?
- Website redesign: We reorganized the Pitbikes.gr presentation around trackdays, rider preparation, and track content.
- Trackday structure: We implemented separate routes for upcoming and previous events through The Events Calendar.
- Event pages: Each trackday includes date, times, track, categories, groups, amenities, schedule, map, and calendar addition options.
- Route for young riders: We created the "First trackday" page with four practical steps and answers to basic questions before your first participation.
- Practical guides: We organized a separate section with five guides on training costs, fitness, tires and technical issues.
- Community content: We have integrated photos, videos, a presentation of the team, FAQs and a newsletter for new dates.
- Connection to the e-shop: The website connects to pitbikes.shop for access to parts and accessories.
The outcome
A redesigned website that brings together trackdays, participation information and educational content of Pitbikes.gr in distinct, organized routes. Participation remains by phone, while each event provides what the rider needs before the track.
Technical approach
Trackdays are organized into upcoming and previous events, with a separate page for each event and practical participation information. Supplementary content tracks cover the first trackday, the drivers, the team, photos and videos, FAQ and newsletter.
