Kassandra Kelaidis Photography's website is one of the most challenging and creative projects we have implemented at Shell-it. As a destination wedding and baptism photographer, Kassandra needed a website that would showcase her unique aesthetic and the high quality of her work, while also being functional, fast and user-friendly.

A demanding image optimization project

One of the biggest challenges in this project was managing the large volume of high-resolution images. Each photo is a valuable part of Kassandra’s portfolio and had to be presented without compromising on quality, while ensuring the speed and performance of the website. Through careful image optimization and advanced caching techniques, we managed to achieve the best result.

Customized design and development

The website was built on the WordPress platform, but includes fully customized development and design to meet Kassandra’s specific needs. We created custom content types and templates, specifically designed to properly display her photography collections, enhancing the user experience and facilitating navigation.

Multilingual content

The website is available in two languages, Greek and English, to serve customers from both Greece and abroad. The content has been carefully translated and optimized, ensuring that Kassandra’s message remains strong and engaging regardless of language.

SEO and maintaining rankings

A critical part of the project was the migration of the website from a previous domain. We ensured that the website's search engine ranking was not affected by implementing all necessary practices, such as:

• Detailed link mapping.
• Creating 301 redirects.
• Informing Google and search engines about the changes.
  At the same time, we enhanced the website's visibility with a comprehensive SEO strategy, including content optimization, keywords, meta descriptions and on-page SEO techniques.
