Body Project

The Shell-iT team undertook the design and construction of the Body Project website with the aim of creating an online presence that meets the needs of all users and promotes the center's services. Based on the NSRF standards for digital accessibility, we designed and implemented a website that ensures equal access for all.

Our services included:

• Design and development: We have created a website with an attractive design and easy navigation, ensuring a smooth user experience.
• Adaptation to mobile devices: The website is fully adapted to mobile devices, allowing users to access information from anywhere and anytime.
• Embedding accessibility features:
  • WCAG Compliant: The website is fully WCAG compliant, ensuring that all users can access and understand its content.
  • Alt text on images: We provide alt text on all images so that screen readers can describe the content of the images to visually impaired users.
  • Hierarchical structure: The website has a clear and logical structure, with headings and sub-headings that facilitate navigation and understanding of the content.
  • Sufficient color contrast: The color contrasts between the text and the background are sufficient to be readable by visually impaired users.
  • Typing: All functions of the website can be performed exclusively with the keyboard, without the use of the mouse.
  • Adjust font size: Users can adjust the font size according to their needs.
  • Alternative Content Formats: We provide alternative content formats, such as video transcripts and graphic descriptions, to facilitate access for all users.
• Technical support: We provide continuous technical support for the smooth operation of the website.

To ensure website accessibility, we used Lighthouse and WAVE tools to identify and fix any issues.

With our integrated approach, we managed to create a website that meets the needs of all users and promotes the services of the Body Project.
